Originally from Monrovia, Liberia, Maryann’s educational and personal journey across three continents has shaped her unique global perspective and storytelling voice. Her diverse professional background includes years of experience as a nanny, studies in Mental Health and Paralegal Studies, and work in the entertainment industry as a talent manager.

As a proud mother of four adult children, Maryann understands the importance of stories that help children feel safe, inspired, loved, and understood. Through her books, she hopes to create memorable family moments that encourage laughter, comfort, kindness, and creativity.

Beyond writing, Maryann enjoys music, piano, singing, dancing, cooking, and writing songs. Her passion for storytelling continues to inspire children and families everywhere.
