CLOSURE

Verba volant, scripta manet

Spoken words fly away. Written words remain.

A personal and political examination of democracy, accountability,
equality, human rights, institutional power, and the struggle to be heard.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Meet Sneta Kumari

Writer. Researcher. Mother. Advocate for Accountability.

Sneta Kumari was born in the United Kingdom in 1971 and describes herself as having grown up within a multicultural and multilingual environment.

Her background includes work and study across healthcare, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, finance, management, business, and other practical fields.

Her writing draws heavily on lived experience, personal correspondence, historical research, political commentary, and questions about how institutions exercise power.

Closure developed from what she describes as years of attempting to understand, document, and challenge decisions that affected her family.

Rather than separating the personal from the political, Sneta brings the two together using her own experiences as a starting point for wider questions about equality, public institutions, human rights, and democracy.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Closure

A Written Record of Questions, Evidence & Accountability

Closure is an examination of power, public institutions, democracy, human rights, equality, freedom of speech, surveillance, class division, and the rule of law in modern Britain.

Drawing on personal testimony, correspondence, documentary material, historical references, and the author’s interpretation of her own experiences, the book explores what happens when a citizen believes that the normal routes to accountability have failed.

Rather than asking readers simply to accept one version of events, the book repeatedly challenges them to consider questions about transparency, justice, institutional responsibility, and public trust.
