About the Book

The Mother-Baby Connection
Breastfeeding Stories is a deeply personal collection of true stories from mothers who fought through doubt, difficulty, and determination to nourish their babies.
Laurie Clark-Grubbs draws from over 30 years of lactation consulting to offer guidance that’s compassionate, practical, and honest.

These stories reflect the strength, vulnerability, and love mothers carry—and remind us that connection comes in many forms, even in the quiet, midnight moments between feedings.

This book is for you if you’re:

  • Preparing for your first child
  • Struggling to breastfeed and feeling alone
  • Supporting someone on their journey
  • Or simply want to understand the mother-baby bond more deeply.
