Ryan Bueter
Ryan Bueter was born in Toledo, Ohio, April 15th 1969, and grew up in Dublin, Ohio. With a background in music and a lifelong love of writing, this is his first book.
Ryan is also the CEO , and lead performer of The Killer Dueling Pianos. World famous for their one of a kind dueling pianos shows. Having been featured in publications such as Rolling Stone, USA Today, and LA Weekly, Ryan is no stranger to the spotlight.
After facing personal challenges through addiction, getting sober in 2005, and then a throat cancer diagnosis in 2025, he felt a calling to share his story not for recognition, but to serve and inspire others.

Ryan Bueter was born on April 15, 1969, in Toledo, Ohio, and raised in Dublin, Ohio. With a one-year post-high school music education and a love of poetry and songwriting, he has always expressed life through creativity. This book is his first full-length work.
Upon getting sober in 2005, many suggested he write his story. Ryan Bueter felt that simply doing the right thing, getting sober, wasn’t extraordinary. It was after being diagnosed with throat cancer that he realized the story could be useful to others. Writing became a way to serve—sharing lessons learned and offering hope for those facing difficult circumstances.
Writing in the first person, Ryan Bueter tells life as it happened, unfiltered and genuine. Central to his message is the belief that hardships aren’t always about us, but often prepare us for something greater.
