It is a traditional recipe from the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lonelyplanet.com\/italy\/liguria-piedmont-and-valle-daosta\/valle-daosta\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Valle<\/span>d&#8217;Aosta<\/a> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">region&nbsp;of northwest Italy bordered by France and Switzerland.<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> This region of the<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/Western Alps\">Western Alps<\/a> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">is absolutely breathtaking and famous for the iconic snow-capped peaks of the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/place\/Matterhorn-mountain-Europe\">Matterhorn<\/a> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">and a delicious chicken recipe called <strong>Chicken Valdostana<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I often make this dish for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ChefFrancoClasses\">cooking classes<\/a>. People tend to enjoy learning how to make it and it&#8217;s a step up from regular breaded chicken. The recipe as you&#8217;ll see below uses some ingredients that many might say aren&#8217;t Italian. However, in the Valle d&#8217;Aosta region of Italy, they are quite common.
