{"id":7777,"date":"2016-08-23T17:28:02","date_gmt":"2016-08-23T21:28:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.francolania.com\/?p=7777"},"modified":"2026-03-06T20:00:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-06T20:00:11","slug":"cross-kitchen-tunisian-olive-oil-cupcakes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/demo-test-link.com\/franco\/2016\/08\/23\/cross-kitchen-tunisian-olive-oil-cupcakes\/","title":{"rendered":"Cross Kitchen: Tunisian Olive Oil Cupcakes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-15225 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/demo-test-link.com\/franco\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/20160628_150830-3-381x500-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"381\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/demo-test-link.com\/franco\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/20160628_150830-3-381x500-1.jpg 381w, https:\/\/demo-test-link.com\/franco\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/20160628_150830-3-381x500-1-229x300.jpg 229w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 381px) 100vw, 381px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Hello fellow foodies! <\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>I am excited to share with you a wonderful experience that I had working as a chef\/spokesperson for<\/strong><\/span><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tunisia-oliveoil.com\/En\/olive-growing-in-tunisia_8_32\">Tunisian Olive Oil<\/a>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>at this year\u2019s Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City.<\/strong> \u00a0Tunisia was the proud country sponsor of this magnificent \u201cfoodie\u201d event and they really did a wonderful job.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This year\u2019s<\/span><\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/my.fancyfoodshows.com\/summer2016\/Public\/Enter.aspx\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Summer Fancy Food Show<\/a>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">was a great place to see and taste many of the culinary delights of Tunisia, along with their superb olive oils. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I also had the distinct pleasure of working at the event with two very talented and highly-accredited Tunisian chefs, Rafik Tlatli<\/span> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hotelcampinglesjasmins.com\/chef\/lechef.htm\">Ma\u00eetre cuisinier de Tunisie,\u00a0H\u00f4tel les Jasmins<\/a>) <span style=\"color: #000000;\">and Mounir Le Baroque<\/span> (<a id=\"js_w\" class=\"profileLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ancdelegationtunisie\/?ref=br_rs\" data-hovercard=\"\/ajax\/hovercard\/page.php?id=472226539631082\">Academie Nationale de Cuisine \u2013 Delegation Tunisie<\/a>)<span style=\"color: #000000;\">. <strong>The three of us hit it off immediately and there was never a dull moment.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-15226 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/demo-test-link.com\/franco\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/DSC_0086-2-680x452-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"452\" srcset=\"https:\/\/demo-test-link.com\/franco\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/DSC_0086-2-680x452-3.jpg 680w, https:\/\/demo-test-link.com\/franco\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/DSC_0086-2-680x452-3-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You can see a great example of the fun we had in the video below.\u00a0 While introducing my Facebook followers to the small kitchen area of the Tunisian pavilion, a funny thing happened. \u00a0I was just about to talk about the cupcakes I was working on when chef Rafik unexpectedly walked in.
