You remember the love you gave freely, the trust you extended in good faith, and the way your heart shattered when what you poured into someone was not protected. Heartbreak leaves wounds that time alone cannot heal.<\/p><p>Forgiveness is not denial.<br \/>It is release.<br \/><strong><br \/>\u201cAbove all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.\u201d \u2014 1 Peter 4:8<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Forgiveness Is a Choice, Not a Feeling<\/strong><\/p><p>There were days I wanted to hold on to the hurt because it felt like proof of what I survived. But bitterness is heavy, and resentment keeps wounds open. Forgiveness required me to choose healing even when my emotions hadn\u2019t caught up yet.<\/p><p><strong>\u201cThen Peter came to Jesus and asked, \u2018Lord, how many times shall I forgive someone who sins against me?\u2019 Jesus answered, \u2018I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.\u2019\u201d \u2014 Matthew 18:21\u201322<\/strong><\/p><p>Forgiving my ex companion did not excuse the damage done. It released me from carrying it.<br \/><strong><br \/>Inspirational Quote:<\/strong><br \/><em>\u201cForgiveness is not saying what happened was okay\u2014it is saying I refuse to let it control me.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p><strong>God Heals the Heart That Love Wounded<\/strong><\/p><p>Heartbreak often shakes faith. It makes you question discernment, timing, and even God\u2019s plan. But in my lowest moments, God met me in the pain\u2014not with judgment, but with restoration.<\/p><p><strong>\u201cHe heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.\u201d \u2014 Psalm 147:3<\/strong><\/p><p>Healing didn\u2019t happen overnight. It happened in prayer. In tears. In moments of surrender. God gently reminded me that rejection does not redefine identity.<\/p><p><strong>Inspirational Quote:<br \/><\/strong><em>\u201cGod restores the heart when love fails.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p><strong>Forgiveness Does Not Remove Boundaries<\/strong><\/p><p>One of the most important lessons I learned is that forgiveness and access are not the same. You can forgive someone and still protect your peace. You can release them from resentment without re-entering harm.<\/p><p><strong>\u201cGuard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.\u201d \u2014 Proverbs 4:23<\/strong><\/p><p>Forgiveness, for me, looked like distance. It looked like silence. It looked like choosing self-respect over familiarity.<\/p><p><strong>Inspirational Quote:<\/strong><br \/><em>\u201cI forgave you, not to return, but to be free.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p><strong>Letting Go for the Sake of Peace<\/strong><\/p><p>Forgiving an ex companion meant surrendering the need for closure that would never come. It meant trusting God to close the chapter in ways I couldn\u2019t.<\/p><p><strong>\u201cDo not repay evil for evil\u2026 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.\u201d \u2014 Romans 12:17\u201318<\/strong><\/p><p>Peace became my priority.
